Talf Solar started with a modest 1MW rooftop solar project in Delhi in 2019 and today has an operational portfolio of 19MW of rooftop and ground-mounted projects in Delhi, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
With 42MW of projects under implementation and a pipeline of over 50MW, Talf Solar aims to reach a portfolio of 100MW in 2024 and 500MW in 2028.
Talf Solar's first project was establishing rooftop solar plants on 19 Govt. schools in Delhi. Every year the project saves the schools over Rs. 8 Mio and reduces carbon emissions by 1,200 tCO2e.
Established on the rooftop of the prestigious Kali Devi School in Hisar, the project saves the school over Rs. 0.6 Mio every year and reduces carbon emissions by over 100 tCO2e p.a.
In 2021 Talf Solar built rooftop solar plants on 54 Govt. schools, DTC bus depots, Delhi University colleges and other educational institutions. Every year the project generates savings of over Rs. 30 Mio and 4,700 tCO2e.
The project is based on 2 sites, in Rudrapur (4.2MW, commissioned 2021) and Champawat (5.8MW, commissioned 2022). The project sells power to UPCL, the only 'A' rated govt. power utility outside of Gujarat.
Built on rooftops at the railway workshop in Kanchrapara, West Bengal, this project generates over 4 Mio kWh of clean energy for the Indian Railways' captive consumption.
Solar plants on the rooftops of two Delhi University colleges - Delhi College of Arts & Commerce and Acharya Narayan Dev College. The project will generate savings of Rs. 4 Mio and 600 tCO2e every year.

Some of our plants are located in under-developed regions. We plan to sponsor skills development workshops and training programs for local communities.
We will facilitate agriculture in the space between solar panels in ground-mounted solar plants. This will boost local farmers' incomes and also help the environment.
Trees are arguably the best way to sequester carbon. Talf Solar dedicates a portion of land on the northern periphery of its ground-mounted projects for tree plantation.
